On Saturday night we welcomed little Olivia. It was such a wonderful experience. My doctor decided to induce after an ultrasound confirmed she was on the larger size and the fluid was low. I have never been induced before and didn't know what to expect. I didn't even need pitocin. I received cervidil at 10:40 and that's all it took. We had the best nurses and even my doctor, Dr. Ruiz, delivered the baby. She wasn't the petite baby the doctors and nurses thought she might be. She was 10 days early and weighed 8 lbs 12 oz and was 20" long. I grow my babies BIG. She looks just like her sisters did and we couldn't be more happy. We have been so incredibly blessed and Heavenly Father's hand was definately a part of everything that happened on Saturday. It was wonderful to have my parents there that day and to have all the kids come visit us the following day. Here's some other photos of her and some other highlights of our summer.

It's about time!! I miss her so much already that, now, I can at least look at pictures of her. I really think she looks like me! Well, maybe not, but she is adorable. I love the slide show!! Give her a big kiss and tell the kids that they are missed! Zach keeps asking us when we are having another sleep over.
Of course, she is beautiful! You guys don't make 'em any other way. :o] I'm glad everything went so well. Having your own doctor deliver must have been nice, especially being Kaiser. I love the slide show. Love you guys & congratulations!!

Congratulations Kara! 3 has knocked me off my feet, I can't even imagine 4! Good luck. You are good at everything, so I'm sure 4 will be wonderful..and she is just so cute! It almost makes me wish I lived in the Desert again, so I could see your cute kids...
Congratulation! She is beautiful! I'm so glad she's here and everything went well. Kara you are one hot Mama! I love her name. Kara you have surpassed even the amount of names we came up with during our economics class in high school (I don't remember the teachers name......he loved the czech republic though...remember?) Anyways, you guys are amazing and I'm so happy for you.

Ahem, I would like to see more pictures please. I miss her, and I know she's changing already, so I need some updates. Are you ready to give her to me yet? I'm growing impatient!
